Abstract:

This collection includes memorabilia collected by Malinda Worthington Hoopes.  Most of the collection concerns Hoopes’ genealogical investigations into her own family history.  There are also a few items related to her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Collection Arrangement:

Items were received with little inherent order.  Not all items are dated, and some letter have dates that differ from the dates on their envelopes by decades.  They have been roughly arranged by family line, though given the interactions between and eventual merger of those family lines, researchers interested in any part of the collection are advised to investigate all of it.
