Get in a festive mood with this 1.5 hour walking tour, brought to you by the historians and educators at Chester County History Center. Your costumed guides will take you to West Chester’s early churches, department stores and cultural sites, learning about what “Christmas” meant to the people of West Chester from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. At the end of the tour we will toast the season with a festive libation at a local restaurant (included in the ticket price).
Please plan to arrive at The History Center 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Dress in warm, comfortable layers, as almost all of the tour will be held outdoors. If you have mobility questions, please reach out to [email protected] before purchasing a ticket. Distance is approximately 1.5 miles. Masks are not required outdoors.
TICKETS ARE NONREFUNDABLE* once purchased–this tour is rain or shine. Ticket fees benefit the mission of the Chester County History Center to preserve Chester County’s history, documents, and artifacts for future generations.
*If we have to cancel due to treacherous ice or snow, refunds will be issued.
