Since 1982, the Chester County Archives has been preserving and making accessible the historic government records of the Chester County Government. We’ll peel back the curtain for a behind-the-scenes look at the Chester County Archives. We’ll discuss the history of this unique department, explore the historic county government records available to researchers, and highlight some local history.
This event will be offered in a hybrid format. Attendees can join us virtually on Zoom or by reserving an in-person seat at the Chester County Government Services Center (601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA 19382). Once the program concludes, in-person attendees will be invited to tour the archives. Those individuals interested in joining us in person must register on Eventbrite and email [email protected] to reserve your seats.
Admission is free but only registered individuals will be permitted as space is limited.
