No matter what your favorite architectural style is, you’ll find it on the streets of West Chester. Each block of the borough sheds light on its history, from its 18th century village beginnings, to its 19th century architectural golden age, and its 20th century struggles to balance the needs of residents and businesses. This is NOT a technical tour, but you will learn about some of the borough’s architectural wonders, the culture in the borough that inspired them, and the lives of the people who lived or worked within.
This tour lasts 1.5 hours and covers approximately 1.25-1.5 miles. Terrain is primarily sidewalks, but many are brick and can be uneven. Event is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Service dogs are welcome; pets are not permitted on our public walking tours.
Tickets are $16.00 per person; members of CCHC receive a 20% discount (with member code). Once purchased, tickets are NONREFUNDABLE. In the event of dangerous weather, CCHC reserves the right to cancel the tour and in that particular case, tickets will be refunded. Click Here to Purchase Tickets
