Celebrate Women’s History month with this virtual lecture from CCHC! Guest speaker Alice A. Carter returns to the CCHC virtual forum to share the story of Philadelphia artist, Cecilia Beaux, one of America’s most successful artists at the turn of the 20th century. About the Speaker: Alice A. Carter is a writer, artist, and Professor Emeritus at San Jose State University. She previously presented The Red Rose Girls: An Uncommon Story of Art and Love through the CCHC Speaker’s Series.
