How to Research Military Records and Uncover their Genealogical Treasures (Genealogy)

Discover the who, what, where, when, why and how of researching your ancestor’s military service and history. Hear about military resources at the Federal, State and local levels of government. Find out the benefits and learn how to navigate some of the difficulties of researching at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. In addition, you will learn techniques and strategies to conduct effective searches for these valuable records both on and off the Internet.

Speaker Bio: Sydney F. Cruice is a professional genealogy researcher, writer and national lecturer with over 25 years of experience. She developed the curriculum and has taught the Foundations of Genealogy courses at Historical Society of Pennsylvania for the past 7 years. She is the current President of the Association of Professional Genealogists for the Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter.
